Vassilis Rougas is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture. He studied Economics at the Panteion University and Economic Mathematics at the Athens University of Business, and completed a second master’s degree in the Netherlands, at the University of Utrecht, in Computer Games development. He did his PhD on the use of serious games for business decision-making at Delft University of Technology. Along the way, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University of Technology on projects using games and participatory methods, in collaboration with academic, private companies and public institutions (eg Swedish Ministry of Transport, Airlines). His teaching and research interests concern the design, implementation and use of new technologies, models and games in different sectors of economy and education.
